This blog is intended for an audience of people in southern states who may be thinking about purchasing a generator. Home Depot and Lowes are full of generators, but that is just the start of generator usage. Remember when planning for this year’s hurricanes, that they will not hit us like two years ago and to not make your plans around what would have worked well with Katrina or Wilma. This document came about because I could not find a good resource on how to select, connect and use a generator during an emergency. Hopefully you will find it interesting!
